Route 8 North now open after car fire
ANSONIA - Route 8 north is now open after it was closed earlier due to a car fire Wednesday evening. Connecticut State Police reported both lanes of Route 8 north were closed by exit 17 at around 4:45 p.m., according to a Twitter Post.
