An Abilene woman was indicted by a Taylor County grand jury on Thursday for shoplifting from a dollar store and subsequently attacking a dollar store employee that confronted her. TDCJ investigating inmate death at French Robertson Unit in Abilene

The Eastland County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that they have found the body of a missing Abilene man along I-20 on Wednesday evening. The deceased individual has been identified as 60-year-old Joseph Faircloth, an Abilene man who had been missing since November 1.
