Depths of the Earth
I spent almost a month in the Himalayas of Nepal this past April. It included lots of hiking, dal bhat, and expansive views of some of the tallest mountains on Earth. Winter Isle - Photo of the Day
Pictured here is Lake Louise at the Canadian Rockies in winter time. This was shot in mid-day but the light was still soft. The lake was frozen in some areas and there were a lot of people ice skating. I noticed the area where the water enters the lake and saw a small mound of snow in the middle of the water.
