Chestnut Ridge construction near completion; road open to traffic in both directions

Roadwork is finishing up on Chestnut Ridge Road in Elyria. Traffic is open to both directions as construction crews finish pavement marking on the project. Flaggers will be used until tomorrow when the pavement marking is scheduled to be finished. NTSB releases preliminary report in fatal plane crash

CARLISLE TWP. — The National Transportation Safety Board has released a preliminary report on the June 30 plane crash that killed pilot Joseph Begany, 63.
