San Antonio man accused of transporting marijuana from Colorado to Texas

A San Antonio man was arrested for attempting to transport marijuana from Colorado to Texas Monday. According to the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, Quinton Batiste, 29, was arrested during a traffic stop on US 87 North. More than half a pound of marijuana was found in his car. Abilene man indicted for the continuous sexual abuse of 2 children

An Abilene man accused of sexually assaulting two children under the age of 14 was indicted Thursday. Police arrested Michael Leon Grubb, 36, at his home in June on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child. The alleged abuse occurred over a period of several years. Abilene police arrested a woman Friday and charged her with Endangering a Child. According to a report, 36-year-old Takiya Lee was arrested after she was seen driving south on the 1100 block of Judge Ely Blvd. Police say they knew that she did not have a valid drivers license.
