Tolono Fun Days kicks off Friday
TOLONO, Ill. (WCIA) — Tolono Fun Days is coming up this weekend. The annual event kicks off June 24 and runs through June 25. This year’s theme is “Throwback.” There is a salute to the grand marshals, “The Boom Boom Boys.” The fun starts Friday night with a golf cart parade. The regular parade is on Saturday morning. SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The Illinois State Fair announced a new headliner for this year’s line-up. Emmy Award-winning host of “The Daily Show” Trevor Noah will bring his stand-up comedy to the Illinois Lottery Grandstand stage. That will be on Friday, August 19. Man charged with arson for car fire
EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — A Paris man is charged with arson. 19-year old Devon Deweese was arrested Sunday night. He’s accused of setting a vehicle on fire earlier this month. He also had an outstanding county arrest warrant. → Read More
