Woman rescued following crash in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS – A woman had to be rescued from her truck following a crash Sunday morning. It happened around 6:00 a.m. in the area of W. Cheyenne Rd. and Woodburn St. The crash involved a truck and an SUV. Fire crews used the jaws of life to get the driver out of the SUV. Nobody was hurt, but the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. No word on what caused the crash. → Read More

Victim in deadly Pueblo shooting identified

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo – The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the victim killed in a deadly shooting last week. The shooting happened on May 5th on Taylor Avenue, in the area of I-25 and E Nothern Avenue in Pueblo. The County Coroner says 31-year-old Matthew Davis died due to a gunshot wound. Officers believe a road rage incident may have prompted the shooting. Police continue to investigate. → Read More

Driver dies following crash in El Paso County

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo – A person died after a single-car crash Saturday night near Ramah. According to the Colorado State Patrol, it happened around 10:40 pm On highway 24… Near milepost 349. The CSP said a 1999 Porsche was heading westbound when the 30-year-old driver lost control and hit a steel guardrail. Crews battle grassfire near Mesa Ridge Parkway

Fires in Otero County 100% contained

OTERO COUNTY, Colo – The La Junta Fire Department says two fires it battled yesterday in Otero County are 100% contained. The first happened on Highway 109, South of La Junta, and spread quickly.
