Tucker Fire in Modoc County burns 2,000 acres

The U. S. Forest Service is reporting the Tucker Fire is 2,000 acres in size. Officials said structures affected are scattered out buildings, and power lines impacted are large transmission lines. Red Bluff hospital first in Northstate to offer laughing gas for child birth

St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff is now offering laughing gas, or nitrous oxide, to women giving birth.
