The USS Toledo returned to Connecticut on Monday after months at sea. The Los Angeles-class submarine spent half a year away from its homeport in Groton, having been deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and the Persian Gulf, and making stops in Bahrain, France, Spain and Greece. Milford man charged with sexually assaulting juvenile
A Milford man was arrested last week after a months-long sexual assault investigation. Police arrested Loren I. Manes, 45, of Wayland Road in Milford, on March 28, more than three months after a juvenile reported inappropriate sexual behavior, police said. A Stratford woman was arrested early Monday after a disturbance in Milford. Trumbull police revive overdose victim
A suspected overdose victim in Trumbull was revived by first responders who administered Narcan, police said. Officers responding to a home on Madison Avenue early Sunday found an unconscious 27-year-old man. Evidence of heroin use was discovered near the victim. Truck fire closes Interstate 95 in Milford
Interstate 95 northbound is closed in Milford because of a tractor-trailer fire, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The highway is closed between Exits 33 and 34 at the Stratford-Milford line. Two teens who broke into Lime Rock Park to race go-carts Wednesday night suffered head injuries when the vehicles crashed, according to the Hartford Courant. Connecticut woman makes history with Army Rangers
