Herman B. Trigg, 31, has pleaded not guilty to charges of drug-induced homicide for the April heroin death of 30-year-old Melissa Carroll. McHenry man sentenced for heroin charges

Dale M. Hoagland, 33, of McHenry, was arrested April 14, and charged with multiple Class X felonies. He faced between six to 30 years in prison on the most serious charges against him.
