An animal with the ability to combat 14 lions must be an aggressive, vicious predator. Or not. This incredible YouTube video posted by The Dodo shows a small elephant brawling with 14 lions. The ferocious cats jump on his back and claw at his hide, but he swats and kicks them off like rodents. In the end, the elephant is able to fend off the pride by getting in the water. → Read More

They say it could be a decomposed whale. Sure, a hairy whale sounds reasonable. A 20-foot long, 2-ton hairy blob washed up on the shore in the Philippines, and so far, there is only speculation as to what it could be. National geographic reports that the hair could be decomposed muscle fibers. No one will know for sure though unless additional tests are performed. What do you think it could be? → Read More
